Sometimes I like to make something two sided. However, when I use the embroidery thread in the bobbin, I end up with all kinds of problems...loops, thread nests, broken needles. Does anyone have some tips for me?

I've been working on some mug rugs and was using Fray Check on the satin stiched border in case I clipped the edges to close. However, I was astounded that it left the rugs smelling so bad. I had used Fray Check before, but not so much, just little dots.

This is the caffeinated owl apron that I've had so much trouble with the hooping. Actually, I always have hooping trouble. It is from Smart Needle. By the time I got to the last few colors, they were all not lining up right, so I just stopped stitching.

I have an ongoing problem with all my hoops for my Bernina 180 machine. The stabilizer in the area in the corner by the screw invariably gets wavy. Sort of look like when you stretch fabric on the bias. This really throws the embroidery off. I was stitchi
