A pair of ITH pencil cases. The zip is hidden under the edge of the "eraser". The larger one was made diagonally in my 200mm square hoop. The smaller one fits 130 x 180mm and can just about cope with pencils if they have been sharpened a couple of times

Chemical coaster. I haven't had much time for sewing this week - but I've had a few ideas that I couldn't resist trying out. This is a representation of a sucrose molecule (on a CD of course.) The shadow is because the sun was shining at last!

Tomorrow is Shrove Tuesday, AKA Pancake Day here in UK. Many towns and villages have a tradition of pancake races (over a short course, but you do have to toss the pancake en route!) I wondered if there were any similar traditions in other countries. (We

Chemical Cushions (for geeks like me!) These designs are stitched onto cream linen and then appliqued on to a silky tweed fabric. Now back to the other 90 or so elements still waiting to be digitised!
