A jacket with no embroidery! This began as a chenille throw and I just managed to fit all of the pattern pieces for this jacket onto it. It doesn't show up that clearly but it has braided frog fastenings.

ITH purse for the jubilee. Everything here in the UK is covered with Union flags at the moment so I thought I would try one. I digitised the ith purse design to fit my 126 x 110mm hoop and used the stitchout of the flag for the back. Now to work out a foo

Things which mystify me #2. Why do some designs end with a single stitch in the centre? I've just spoilt a greetings card which now has a neat single hole in the middle of a space in the design!

Two faced George. George is a double sided glove puppet for use in role play with children who have difficulty expressing their feelings. Teachers like to use puppets so that children can talk in the third person rather than about themselves.

Kitten glove puppet (for asterixsew who lost her cat the other day)This one is stitched on a piece of one of those really cheap fleece blankets. I've never seen a real cat with such textured fur!
