TIP. How many times have you carefully put a ribbon into an ITH felt item and then cut it off at the last stage? I came up with a plan today. I stitched the placement outline on tear away stabiliser and then added the ribbons. I covered that with anoth

I showed this quilt top in sewing a few days ago, but it is now promoted to projects as it has been quilted in the hoop of my embroidery machine. This was the first time the quilting hoop had been out of its packaging but I think it will see more use now!

Update - I've added a coaster! There are lots of teacher gifts around at the moment. In 35 years at the chalk face teaching secondary science I never received a personal gift so I've made this one for myself! The design is from The Chemistry Set now
