Hoop problem--have any of you broken a hoop? The tightening "thingie" just broke off my jumbo hoop as I was unhooping a project. These things aren't cheap, and it was the plastic that broke, so it won't even glue together! Am I just too rough on it

Just out of curiousity, what other names for things are so different? We laugh at "foot-feed" for the gas pedal, "turtle hull" for the trunk of the car, and when my mother-in-law complains, she calls it "raring and faunching" Has anyone else heard
