This table runner was English paper pieced by hand, but quilted on my embroidery machine. The second picture is the back of the runner. I digitised the quilting design to fit the large hexagon shapes.

This is a free design from Creative Embroidery magazine. It took about 8 hours to stitch our all the pieces and a full spool of orange thread. Way more involved than I anticipated when I began, but I love how it turned out. It stands about 5 inches tall
