I've been playing with this design for a couple of weeks, adding fractional stitches and "french knots" until I liked the look of it. The basic design is two poppies which can be built up into a border (with or without mirroring) or made into a square

Potato bags - Again! So I made my bag with cotton fabric, cotton terry towelling in the sandwich and cotton thread. I washed a potato, patted it dryish and wrapped it in paper towel before putting it in the bag. I set the microwave for five minutes but

A new twist on an old design. The pocket on this bag is the ith piano zipped purse. I used denim and no interlining or lining. I used sheeting fabric for the purse back to cut down the bulk and then stitched the purse onto the bag. The bag is lined with a
