I am working on towels. I purchased the tear away/wash away stabilizer and it is so thick. I assume I only hoop the stabilizer and then use temporary adhesive? But then how do I hold down the topping? I heard ironing the pile first helps - do I starch it

Thanks everyone for your concern. Biopsy results show no malignancy. Left unchecked for much longer it may not have been the same result. Always check freckles or moles that change in appearance. Make time for you.
