Persistence pays off. I finally found that if I put a band of fabric on the edge of the towel I could cut down on the bulkiness enough to make this design work in my 5x7 hoop. I am quite pleased with the end result

Is it still a towel topper if it is only a washcloth? The one done in the 5x7 hoop is too small to use anything bigger than a fingertip towel but I didn't have one on hand so I used a washcloth. I thought the hanger loop was disproportionate to the size

When I made my crazy quilt patch purse I did a test panel first to see how and where I wanted to place the colors. So not wanting to waste that panel I made it into this little pouch today and I now have a cute companion piece. It measures about 4x6.
