These are the results of my experiments with applique with precut fabric. My real aim was to achieve the handstitched look, but this was not possible with other applique methods. I'm rather pleased with the results. I always have a pincushion outline

All ready for St Valentine. Each heart fits in the 10cm square hoop. They are made and connected in the hoop. (Could also be horizontal.) The design set is the complete alphabet for versatility and could also be used as appliques..
